Traveling has its perks.
So one thing you will learn about me is that I'm all over the place. As a traveling, and destination wedding photographer the list of places I go or could end up is pretty much limitless. As I travel I also look for certain stops along the way for, good coffee, and yummy eats. Or adorable air b&bs I like to be able to share those finds with you.
Since most food hates me finding yummy food I can eat is always something that brings me a lot of joy. I'm both gluten free and a vegetarian.
This location is rather out in the middle of nowhere. About a hour and a half into the country outside of nashville in central tn. So I did most of my exploring in other parts of tn.
A thing to note about this area if you find yourself there is that I recommend you plan carefully and pull up your maps with everything saved offline before you head that direction.
Signal is in and out and it is remote so not somewhere you want to chance getting turned around in.
To start with what I will say is that this venue is like no other! Christian farms while being a wedding venue is also a non profit organization that specializes in rescuing, rehabbing and rehoming horses, and other animals. Regardless of what situation they may find themselves in. So needless to say depending on what you're looking for this location can offer a large variety of options for pictures. To find out more about what they do as a nonprofit you can check out their facebook page.
This wedding had been long a waited and they couldn't be happier that the day had finally come.
It was packed full of so many special moments. I will say that one of those moments was definitely the fact that this bride was a daddy's girl and she wanted to have a first look with her father. I am all for it! My father was terminally ill when I got married myself so there were a lot of those moments that I didn't get to have for myself they always brings tears to my eyes. But I'm so happy to be able to give those moments to others.
I'm going to share a few more highlights of the day overall but if you're a daddy's girl just wait! Because it gets even better. Their decor as was special as well as they put a lot of thought into ways to be able to include ones that couldn't be there with them. Check these out below as well as a few of my other favorite detail shots from this day. Also be sure to check out those gorgeous floral arrangements.
Not just two
It was very important to them that this day be special not just for the two if them but for their entire family. Including their little ones because a marriage isn't just between two people its a family your creating. I love all the little moments and they ways that they were able to include their little ones also. Candid moments are always some of my favorites so when I noticed mom touching up her daughters makeup for photos I was all over it.
The happy couple
Some animal guest appearances
What was the best part though?
The father daughter dance!!! You will find that it is during this part of the wedding that I will probably take more photos of this one day then any other singular moment throughout the day. Our experiences in life definitely shape us, but mine has taught me that every moment is precious and we should value every little moment that we get. If the little moments are big moments to you then maybe we're a good fit. I'd love to talk more and help you plan your day.
