A magical day
While this wasn’t a real elopement, the mood, atmosphere, and storytelling of this session felt like stepping into a magical elopement scene pulled straight out of the wizarding world.
With the dramatic arches of Portals of the Past and the quiet fog draped beauty of Golden Gate Park, Sarah and Riley brought warmth and connection to a session built around creativity and play.
At this point in my photography journey, I was still leaning into a new artistic direction one that embraced mood, emotion, and cinematic storytelling. This session was part of that growth. It allowed me to experiment freely, explore a theme I loved, and have fun with the process without needing it to fit into a specific category or milestone.

Portals of the Past is one of those locations that feels like it holds a story of its own. The historic archway, reflective water, surrounding greenery, and the soft roll of fog gave the perfect backdrop for a theme rooted in magic and nostalgia.
